H.E.R DAO Kenya is a sub-DAO of H.E.R DAO Global, a web3 community based in Kenya with 130 members. We were founded in September 2022, primarily focusing on onboarding women, non-binary, and men to web3 through hackathons and conferences. In 2022, women were sponsored by the generous @LSDan.eth for @ETHSafari in Kenya, which HDK Governors organized.
HDK has sponsored womxn to two conferences, including the Polkadot Safari 2023 in March-April, which HDK Governors also organized. This time, women and men from Sub-Saharan Africa, including Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Nigeria, were sponsored by HDK.
We aim to become the leading launchpad in Africa for women in the web3 space.
